World of Warcraft Fishing Tips
Part
1 |
Part 2
Fishing is a secondary skill, which you can have
on World of Warcraft. When you look at fishing, you see that it is different from those other professions. As a
fisher, you will not be required to visit dangerous areas or have need of collecting any reagents that are hard
to find.

Basically, fishing is for those individuals that would like to relax on WoW
for a little bit and just chat. If you are looking to start that fishing career, then you will need to have a
fishing pole and somewhere to fish. Once you have started fishing, it is just like fishing in real life, you
will need to wait for the fish to bite. When you see your bobber start to move, all you have to do is click on
it. Hopefully, you will catch a fish or something more interesting.
Collecting Cool Stuff While
Fishing
Not only will you be getting fish as you are
fishing, but you can also catch other items such as weapons, armor, locked boxed, skill recipes and
gems. If you are looking for Artisan Fishing, then you have to be at least level 35 and have 225
fishing.
Where Alliance and Horde Players Get Their Fishing Start
Alliance players will need to go to Ironforge and speak with Grimnur
Stonebrand.
Horde players will need to go to the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar and speak with
Lumak.
If you are looking to get expert
fishing, then you can find this guide in Booty Bay. It will only cost you one gold. It
is available from OldMan Heming.
You should take note that getting your fishing
skill from 300 to 375 is something that you won’t be able to do all in one day. In fact, in order to gain one
skill point, you will need to get more than one catch.
Many newbs just throw their poles down and give
up on fishing all together. You should never give up on fishing as this is a great way to get WoW
gold.
You may want to take some breaks and spread your fishing out, instead of doing it all at once. As you
are fishing, you should check your fishing gear and make sure it is the best. This is including those fishing
lures.
Below are
some tips that you can utilize in World of Warcraft fishing:
· You should take note that fishing can no longer be done in Alterac Valley or
Arathi Basin.
· You will be able to fish in The Underbog.
· The fishing timer will not run out without a fish biting your
hook.
· You will be able to sell those cooked fish to other
players.
· You will only be able to catch certain types of fish during certain times
during the day.
· There are some fishing areas in the Outlands, which you can only get to by a
flying mount.
Now You Seem Um, Now You Don't - Special
Fishing Ponds
As you travel throughout the world on World of
Warcraft, you will find many special fishing pools. To fish in those pools, you will need to keep casting until
you get your bobber to land in the circle that is animated.
If you land outside that special pool, then you
will not catch yourself any special fish.
You will be able to
fish in the pool about six times before the pool disappears. On an ending note, fishing is
something really easy to do, but it can either be exciting or boring. It all depends on where you decide to
fish.
